WHERE, HOW, AND HOW LONG YOUR ORDER TAKES TO ARRIVE

Shipping Policy

This page sets out exactly where we ship Cutting Drops, how long it takes, what it costs, which couriers handle your parcel, and what happens with customs, tracking, or a delayed delivery — for customers in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and New Zealand.

Where We Ship

We dispatch every order from our fulfilment location in Queensland, Australia. We currently ship to five countries only:

Australia
United States
United Kingdom
Canada
New Zealand

We do not currently ship to any other country. If our checkout does not recognise your shipping address, it's because we're not yet able to deliver there — we won't take an order we can't fulfil to your address, and any such order will be identified and refunded in full rather than shipped incorrectly.

02

Order Cut-Off And Processing Time

Daily order cut-off

11:00 PM, Monday to Friday, Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST, GMT+10:00, Brisbane). Orders placed before this time on a business day are queued for processing that day. Orders placed after the cut-off, or on a weekend or Australian public holiday, are queued for processing on the next business day.

Processing time

Every order is checked, packed and handed to our courier within 1 to 2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding Australian public holidays). Processing time is separate from, and in addition to, the transit time shown in Section 03.

03

Delivery Timeframes And Shipping Costs

Transit times below are estimates counted in business days from the date your order is dispatched — not the date you placed it — and start after the processing time in Section 02.

Destination Method Estimated transit Cost
Australia & New Zealand Standard 7–21 business days Free
Australia & New Zealand Express, insured 6–12 business days Flat rate USD $3.99
United States, United Kingdom & Canada Standard 6–21 business days Free
United States, United Kingdom & Canada Express, insured 3–12 business days Flat rate USD $3.99

Standard shipping is free on every order to all five countries we serve, with no minimum order value required. Express, insured shipping is available at checkout for a flat USD $3.99, charged in your local currency at the applicable exchange rate. Transit estimates can vary with customs processing, regional or remote postcodes, and carrier delays outside our control, and are not a guaranteed delivery date.

04

Couriers We Use

Every parcel leaves our Queensland facility with Australia Post or a comparable trackable carrier. From there, depending on your destination and the shipping method you choose, your parcel travels through one of the following networks:

Australia — domestic

Australia Post, for both standard and express insured shipments.

New Zealand

Australia Post International handling export, handing over to New Zealand Post for final delivery.

United States

Australia Post International or DHL eCommerce handling export, handing over to USPS for final delivery. Express insured shipments may travel with DHL Express end-to-end.

United Kingdom

Australia Post International or DHL eCommerce handling export, handing over to Royal Mail for final delivery.

Canada

Australia Post International or DHL eCommerce handling export, handing over to Canada Post for final delivery.

Express, insured (all destinations)

Handled by DHL Express or an equivalent trackable, insured international courier, selected to give the fastest reliable transit available to your destination.

The specific carrier used can vary between orders based on parcel weight, destination postcode and carrier capacity at the time of dispatch. The tracking email you receive after dispatch will always confirm the actual carrier and tracking number for your order.

05

Order Tracking

As soon as your order is handed to a courier, you'll receive a dispatch confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to follow your parcel's journey. Tracking data can take up to 24–48 hours to first update once a parcel is scanned into an international network, so don't be concerned if there's no movement immediately after dispatch. You can also check your order status any time on our Track Your Order page.

06

Customs, Duties And Import Taxes

This section is our dedicated customs and import charges disclosure, referenced throughout our policies as "Section B." Please read it before you order internationally.

If you're ordering from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada or New Zealand, your order is exported from Australia and may be subject to your country's customs duties, import VAT or GST, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by your own government once the parcel arrives in your country. These charges are set by your customs authority, not by us, and vary depending on your country's current thresholds and rules — we cannot predict or quote them in advance.

Any customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees charged on delivery are the responsibility of the customer. The Minerals Lab is not responsible for, and will not reimburse, these charges. If your order is returned to us because you decline to pay a customs charge, our standard Return & Refund Policy return-shipping terms apply, and any customs or return handling fees charged to us may be deducted from your refund.

Domestic orders within Australia are not subject to any import charges, as GST is already included in the displayed price.

07

If Your Parcel Is Held Or Inspected By Customs

Ingestible supplement products can occasionally be selected for extra inspection by customs or border authorities, particularly in Canada and the United Kingdom. This is a routine part of importing a consumable product and is outside our control.

  • If your tracking shows your parcel is held by customs, this usually resolves itself within a few additional business days as part of routine clearance. Please allow this extra time on top of the transit estimates in Section 03 before contacting us.
  • If customs requires you to pay a duty, tax, or brokerage fee to release the parcel, that cost is your responsibility, as set out in Section 06.
  • If a parcel is held for an extended period, seized, or destroyed by a customs authority for reasons outside our control (for example, a random compliance check or a documentation requirement specific to your country), we will work with you in good faith to find a resolution, but we cannot guarantee a refund or reshipment in every case — each situation is reviewed individually. Contact us as soon as you're notified of a hold, and we'll do what we reasonably can to help, including providing any invoice or documentation your customs authority requests.
  • We do not knowingly ship anything that is prohibited or restricted for import into any of the five countries we serve, and Cutting Drops is formulated and labelled as a botanical wellness product for that reason.
08

Lost Or Delayed Parcels

1

If your tracking hasn't updated for a while, first allow the full estimated transit window in Section 03, since these are estimates and international parcels can occasionally pause in transit without this meaning anything has gone wrong.

2

If the estimated transit window has passed and your parcel still hasn't arrived, email us at help.themineralslab@gmail.com with your order number, and we'll open an investigation with the courier.

3

If the courier confirms your parcel is genuinely lost in transit, we will send a free replacement or issue a full refund, at your choice, once the carrier's investigation is complete.

4

If tracking shows your parcel as "delivered" but you haven't received it, please check with neighbours and any building or mail room first, then contact us within 7 days of the delivered status so we can raise this with the courier promptly.

09

Signature On Delivery

Standard shipping does not require a signature in most cases, and your courier may leave the parcel in a safe location or with a neighbour in line with their own delivery standards. Express, insured shipments may require a signature on delivery, depending on the courier's policy for your destination and parcel value; where this applies, your tracking page will show this requirement and offer options such as rescheduling or collection from a local depot if you're not home. We are not able to override an individual carrier's signature requirement once your parcel is in transit.

10

Delivery Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. If you notice an error, contact us at help.themineralslab@gmail.com immediately — we can usually correct an address before an order is handed to the courier, but cannot guarantee a change once it has been dispatched. If a parcel is returned to us by the courier because of an incomplete or incorrect address you provided, we will contact you to arrange reshipment, and any additional postage cost for reshipping may be passed on to you.

11

Shipping-Related Rules, By Country

Each country we ship to has its own e-commerce delivery rules and its own import framework for a botanical supplement product. Open the section for your country below.

Australia

Domestic deliveries within Australia are not an import and are not subject to any customs process. Under the Australian Consumer Law, we must deliver your order within the timeframe stated at checkout, or within a reasonable time if none is stated; if we can't do this, you may be entitled to cancel and receive a refund. Cutting Drops is classified and labelled as a botanical wellness product rather than a therapeutic good regulated by the Therapeutic Goods Administration, consistent with the product disclosures on our About Us page.

United States

Imported dietary supplements entering the United States are subject to review by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which may examine shipments for compliance with the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) framework. Under the FTC's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, we must have a reasonable basis for the shipping timeframe stated at checkout, and if we can't ship within that timeframe, you have the right to cancel for a full refund.

Low-value personal shipments are generally not charged formal duty under current U.S. de minimis rules, but this threshold and the rules around it can change, and any duty that is assessed is payable by you as set out in Section 06.

United Kingdom

Goods imported into the UK from Australia are cleared through HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) and UK Border Force. Import VAT and, depending on the parcel's declared value, customs duty may be charged and collected by the courier before or on delivery — this is the "brokerage fee" some couriers add on top of the government charge, and both are your responsibility under Section 06. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, we must deliver your order within 30 days of the contract being formed unless we've agreed another date with you.

Canada

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) clears all parcels entering Canada and may assess GST/HST, provincial sales tax, and customs duty depending on your province and the parcel's declared value; these are payable by you as set out in Section 06. Ingestible botanical products can also fall under Health Canada's Natural Health Products Regulations, and can occasionally be selected for extra documentation checks at the border for this reason — see Section 07 if this happens to your order.

New Zealand

New Zealand Customs Service clears imported parcels and, together with Inland Revenue, may assess GST and duty depending on the parcel's declared value under New Zealand's current import thresholds. Botanical ingestible products sold into New Zealand can be subject to the joint Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code, and Medsafe rules where relevant; we keep our labelling within traditional-use, non-therapeutic language for this reason, consistent with our About Us page.

12

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our couriers, transit times, or shipping costs, or to the customs and import rules of the countries we serve. When we make a material change, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
